This is my fav bar in Noe Valley!! They have a great, affordable drink menu, lots of seating (tables, booth, bar, and even a gorgeous outdoor space with greenery and TVs in the back with heat lamps!) The bar has a good variety of NA beverages so I'm a big fan! This is a solid spot to watch any big sports game (lots of screens) with a group and actually sit down. On Thursday's there's a Spanish club in the back 6-8pm which is great way to meet folks and grab a drink while practicing Spanish.

This bar will always be special to me because it's where I watched the Golden State Warriors win the 2022 NBA Championship, cementing their dynasty and Stephen Curry's place as a Tier 1 all-timer. Aside from that, great beer selection, attentive bartenders, and you can now order from Todo El Dia where they'll even come bring your food to the bar. It's a potent combination (though I think you can bring in whatever outside food you wish generally).

This is one of 3 or so great neighborhood bars around 24th street. TONS of beers on tap, and they do a good job with cocktails as well. It's fairly sports-oriented. There's at least a dozen screens. Patio out back. Outdoor unheated parklet. Little smoking area that's open to 24th street for people watching. TV there too :-P Tap beers $8. Cocktails ~$12. They're doing the Pliny the Younger thing right now. Buy your tickets just inside the door (LOL).

While up on Twin Peaks, we decided we wanted to have some happy hour adult beverages, so I got on yelp to find the closest good place. Valley Tavern popped up at the top of the list and down the hill we went. We settled in front of the bank of beer taps on the right side of the bar and had an enjoyable happy hour and a half. My friend was so happy the had Pliny the Elder and Spaten, two of his favorites. Britney the barkeep was very engaging and took good care of us, even if she is a Browns fan just to spite the local 49er fans.

The Valley Tavern is a Noe Valley favorite. It has a large variety of beers on tap, a spacious interior and a very unique back patio. The bar tenders are hardworking and service is quick, reminiscent of a real Irish bar. This is a great spot to watch any SF sports game or just to take the edge off with friends. I give this 4 stars for one reason only - there is no food available. There are lots of great restaurants and takeout places nearby, but a small bar menu would seal the deal of the valley tavern best bar in Noe Valley (though it arguably already is).

That Shauna. Makes a mean daquiri, and not so bad on the banter either! If you're in Noe Valley, there's nowhere better to grab a drink. Introduce yourself to the locals, enjoy the vibe!

Came here on Friday around 6:30 pm and got a nice spot on the back deck. Got a couple of beers and enjoyed the nice weather. It's great that the surrounding building blocks a lot of the wind but plants in the back still make the space enjoyable. Next time I come back I'll definitely bring food since it's BYOF!

This was my go-to spot whenever I felt lazy to look for a new place or if I just wanted something familiar. Drinks : They have a full bar but the cocktails menu is a bit limited. They have extensive list of beers and hard alcohol. I personally love the Bloody mary here. Food : This is a dive bar and serves no food. You can bring your own though which is great! Ambience : Come here with your friends to catch a game. They have plenty of TVs and you could request them to display your preference as well. They have a sizable indoor seating and a cute little back patio that shuts around 8 pm. They also have seating out front with heaters. Staff : Cheerful, helpful, knowledgeable about their drinks - All that you will ever need. Value for money : This dive bar is in one of the nicest neighborhoods in SF - Noe Valley and so the crowd here is quite lovely as well. Come here to have a low key time with your buds and enjoy the full bar.

I was in SF recently and was looking for a place to grab drinks. This is definitely your classic neighborhood spot; divey, lots of TVs for watching the game, strong drinks. It was raining on this particular day but we sat outside underneath the covered patio out back. I feel like maybe some folks aren't aware of this back patio because it's kinda hidden. It's really nice though! They had a TV outside playing the game and plenty of drinks to choose from. I was craving a hot toddy and lo and behold the first thing I saw on the menu was the tavern hot toddy. It was yummy and hit the spot! Definitely a bit on the stiffer side but perfect for warming up out of the rain. We also ordered a pitcher of mimosas. They don't really do pitchers of anything else so this was our best bet. They were pretty solid! All in all a good time! You'll be happy if you come here for a strong drink and to hangout - just don't expect anything too fancy.
